As a Software Engineer I, you’ll play a critical role in developing tools and solutions that support enterprise web applications in a Linux environment. Here’s What Your Day-to-Day Might Include

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites and frameworks using PyTest and Cypress.

  • Collaborating with mission stakeholders to understand requirements and identify opportunities for test automation and quality assurance.

  • Writing clean, efficient code in Python and developing scripts in Bash/Python to automate processes.

  • Working with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to support enterprise web application development.

  • Developing, testing, and integrating solutions with REST interfaces.

  • Leveraging CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI to ensure smooth deployments.

  • Using Git for source control to manage code in a team-based environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (must be active). We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances.

  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas.

  • Education & Experience:

    • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, OR

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, plus 2 years of SWE experience, OR

    • 4 years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with the Linux CLI.

  • Proficiency in writing Bash/Python scripts.

  • Hands-on experience developing with Python in a Linux environment.

  • Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

  • Experience with the Cypress testing framework.

  • Experience with the PyTest testing framework.

  • Experience developing and testing REST APIs.

  • Understanding of CI/CD methodologies and tools such as GitLab CI.

  • Proficiency with Git for version control.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence).

  • Familiarity with the Django web framework.

  • Experience developing user interfaces with React.

  • Knowledge of SQL technologies such as MariaDB.

  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.

 

Compensation Range: $123,000.00 - $163,000.00 

*The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role. Please note that this range is intended as a guideline and is subject to flexibility.
