About this Role

The AI-Driven Analytics Developer will be at the forefront of a new and exciting mission, working directly with CNMF operators and analysts to understand their workflows and enhance their operations. You will integrate with existing Discovery Analytics Teams (DAT) to learn best practices and collaborate with our AI/ML team to leverage advanced technologies. This role combines user-centric development with mission-focused innovation, offering the chance to create impactful solutions that redefine efficiency and capability for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Rapid Prototyping: Gather user requirements, iterate with subject matter experts, and deliver new tools/solutions that enhance efficiency.
  • Continuous Improvement: Observe user interactions with tools, identify pain points, and proactively implement improvements.
  • Collaboration: Work with existing DAT teams and the AIMASSIST AI/ML team to adapt and expand capabilities for new missions.
  • Integration: Identify opportunities to reuse existing tools and analytics for CNMF missions, ensuring seamless implementation across multiple code bases.
  • Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with customers, establish communication rhythms, and prioritize impactful development.
  • AI/ML Expertise: Hone and deploy effective LLM (Large Language Model) and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) experiences for immediate and broader applications.

Key Technologies and Skills

Required Skills:

  • Courage to ask questions, seek clarity, and deliver impactful results.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for delivering user-centric solutions.
  • Proficiency in modern UI libraries (e.g., React, Next.JS, or similar).
  • Experience with middleware frameworks (e.g., Express, Flask, Spring, or FastAPI).
  • Familiarity with basic system administration, software installation, and networking.
  • Proficiency with Git and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with observability tools (Elastic, APM, Grafana, etc.).
  • Expertise in integrating software with Large Language Models (LLMs) and RAG.
  • Production-grade Python development experience.
  • Experience with containerization and deployment (Docker, Kubernetes, or Swarm).
  • Familiarity with tools like Elasticsearch, Kibana, Redis, Kafka, and HAProxy.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity domains, particularly CNO, USCC, or CNMF.
  • Strong Jira usage and task tracking habits.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 12 years of relevant experience, OR Master’s degree with 10 years of experience.
  • Substitution: Four additional years of software engineering experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph 
  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen
Compensation Range: $199,000.00 - $262,000.00 *
*The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role. Please note that this range is intended as a guideline and is subject to flexibility.
