Cloud Transformation Architect, CNO Development Environments - Fully Cleared
Make an Impact Where It Matters Most
At Intelliforce, we specialize in solving the hard problems that sit at the intersection of mission, scale, and complexity. This role is a cornerstone of our cloud, DevOps, and systems engineering core competencies. You will help lead a once-in-a-generation modernization effort, moving critical CNO development environments into the cloud while the mission stays live. This is not theory or greenfield work. This is real impact, real users, and real national security outcomes, delivered by a company trusted to operate where it matters most.
Schedule and Work Details
Location: Emerson
Schedule: Full-time, mission-aligned hours
Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required
Here’s What Your Day-to-Day Might Include
You lead the technical vision for migrating legacy CNO development environments into a secure, scalable cloud-native architecture. You design reusable cloud patterns and templates that teams can adopt easily while preserving hybrid flexibility for on-prem environments. You architect end-to-end solutions for complex CNE services, including large-scale data storage, cloud-to-legacy integration, and performance optimization under strict security constraints. You assess aging infrastructure, document dependencies, evaluate mission impact, and help prioritize modernization efforts based on risk, cost, and operational value. You collaborate directly with AWS Professional Services, mission stakeholders, and technical leadership to validate architectures and execute high-ROI pilots. You redesign developer workflows, enabling unified authentication, improved collaboration, and better experiences for CNO developers. Above all, you help make CNO the best place at the agency to build software by delivering practical, mission-driven improvements quickly and iteratively.
