As part of this work, you'll help enable analytical integration efforts across program areas. These environments depend on reliable, scalable software to maintain interoperability, support mission workflows, and keep data flowing where it’s needed most.

Your work supports mission partners, upstream and downstream systems, and day-to-day analytical operations that depend on modern, resilient software.

Here’s What Your Day-to-Day Might Include

You will support software engineering tasks across multiple mission applications and integration efforts. Your daily work may include the following activities:

  • Design, develop, and enhance software components for mission systems

  • Debug and troubleshoot issues to maintain smooth system operations

  • Integrate software into new systems and environments

  • Create data queries for databases and mission repositories

  • Review, update, and maintain system documentation

  • Support sustainment and interoperability across upstream and downstream systems

  • Maintain compliance with STE/STN standards and mission policies

  • Assist with development and refactoring for interoperability across converged mission platforms

  • Provide build and deployment support for xRT systems

  • Support external mission partners, including USSTRATCOM J8

  • Contribute to analytics workflows supporting DAS data discovery, acquisition, and streaming


Minimum Qualifications

Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline

  • No prior experience required

Degree Substitution:
Four (4) years of software engineering experience on projects using similar development processes may substitute for the degree requirement.


Required Skills

  • Ability to analyze user requirements and translate to design and performance needs

  • Experience designing and coding new software or modifying existing systems

  • Ability to debug and correct defects

  • Experience integrating software into operational environments

  • Ability to develop simple data queries for new or existing databases

  • Ability to offer improvements to documentation and development standards


Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with large-scale analytics systems

  • Knowledge of mission data workflows or analytics integration

  • Understanding of COTS/GOTS integration

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams

  • Strong communication and documentation skills

Compensation Range: $99,000.00 - $131,000.00 

*The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role. Please note that this range is intended as a guideline and is subject to flexibility.
