About this Role:
We are looking for four Experienced Software Engineers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing a wide variety of complex software systems, including real-time applications, large-scale data manipulation, and data analytics solutions. You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where your contributions will have a direct impact on mission success. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance software systems, including real-time systems, data analytics platforms, and large-scale data processing applications.
  • Review and test software components to ensure compliance with design requirements and document test results.
  • Analyze and resolve software problem reports to maintain optimal performance and user experience.
  • Provide input to system design, including hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse opportunities, and COTS/GOTS integration strategies.
  • Collaborate with team members or work independently to deliver software solutions based on project requirements.
  • Work with software development methodologies suitable for various project environments and contribute to improving software development processes.
  • Engage with the customer and stakeholders to ensure that project goals and software requirements are met on time.
  • Utilize tools and frameworks such as GhostMachine Analytics, Portable Map Reduce (PMR), NiFi, and Notifier to enhance system functionality and efficiency.

Key Technologies and Skills:

  • Experience with GhostMachine Analytics for analyzing large-scale data sets.
  • Familiarity with the Portable Map Reduce (PMR) framework for distributed data processing.
  • Knowledge of the AVP process and ability to represent it to AVG.
  • Expertise in JAVA/Spring Framework/Spring Boot for developing scalable software systems.
  • Experience with NiFi for data flow management and Notifier for system alerting.
  • Proficiency with Atlassian tool suite (JIRA, Confluence) for project management and collaboration.
  • Experience with GitLab for source code management and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with COTS/GOTS integration and the ability to adapt commercial and government software solutions to meet system requirements.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • A minimum of 14 years of software engineering experience on projects of similar complexity may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Expertise in software development methodologies and an understanding of real-time systems and large-scale data manipulation.
  • Experience with JAVA, Spring Boot, and various data processing frameworks (e.g., NiFi, PMR) is highly desirable.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
  • Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph 
  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen
Compensation Range: $173,000.00 - $228,000.00
