Here's What Your Day-to-Day Might Include

  • Leading the daily execution of a high-priority task order, ensuring alignment with customer objectives and contract goals

  • Translating user requirements and high-level architecture into well-defined system specifications and actionable technical tasks

  • Directing system design and development initiatives across a multidisciplinary engineering team

  • Serving as the primary technical liaison with government stakeholders, program leadership, and internal teams

  • Conducting technical reviews, supporting milestone planning, and driving informed decision-making at every project phase

  • Identifying technical risks and implementing proactive mitigation strategies

  • Supporting the seamless integration of new systems into ongoing operations with minimal impact

  • Overseeing the creation of core technical documentation, including CONOPS, system design documents, interface control specifications, and integration/test plans

  • Ensuring the technical accuracy, consistency, and quality of all Systems Engineering deliverables under your task order


Minimum Qualifications

  • Clearance: TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (Required)

  • Citizenship: U.S. Citizen

  • Experience: Minimum of 20 years of Systems Engineering experience supporting programs of similar scale and complexity

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, or a related discipline

    • An additional 5 years of relevant experience may be substituted for the degree requirement


Required Skills

  • Mastery of systems engineering principles from requirements gathering through integration and deployment

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire multidisciplinary technical teams in high-stakes environments

  • Strong architectural skills with the ability to synthesize complex technical concepts into actionable solutions

  • Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, technical planning, and lifecycle documentation

  • Skilled in risk management, milestone execution, and continuous process improvement

  • Familiarity with system integration practices and test strategy development


Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in a technical field

  • Experience leading engineering efforts on PRIME contracts within the Intelligence Community

  • Familiarity with Agile development practices, DevSecOps principles, and secure system design

  • Exposure to enterprise-wide system deployment and sustainment strategies

  • Certification in Systems Engineering (e.g., INCOSE CSEP) or relevant leadership/technical credentials

Compensation Range: $182,000.00 - $240,000.00
