About this Role
We are seeking a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to lead efforts in automating, streamlining, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. This role focuses on leveraging cutting-edge technologies like Terraform, AWS, Kubernetes, and GitLab CI to build resilient and scalable environments. You’ll play a pivotal role in transforming infrastructure into code and enabling seamless deployment workflows while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability of mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and Terragrunt.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines leveraging GitLab CI to enable efficient code deployment.
  • Architect and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure on AWS.
  • Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Develop automation scripts and tools using languages like Bash, Python, and Go to improve system reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to integrate best DevOps practices.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, containers, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key Technologies and Skills

  • Tools and Platforms: Terraform, Terragrunt, GitLab CI, AWS (Amazon Web Services).
  • Containerization Technologies: Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Programming and Scripting Languages: Bash, Python, Go.
  • Other Skills:
    • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure architecture.
    • Proficiency in DevOps methodologies and CI/CD principles.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in dynamic environments.
    • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, plus 12 years of relevant experience.
  • OR Master’s degree plus 10 years of relevant experience.
  • OR Associate’s degree plus 14 years of relevant experience.
  • OR High school diploma/GED plus 16 years of relevant experience.
  • Certifications can substitute for one year of experience.
  • In-depth experience related to the position may waive degree requirements.
  • Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph 
  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen
Compensation Range: $171,000.00 - $226,000.00 *
*The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role. Please note that this range is intended as a guideline and is subject to flexibility.
