Join Intelliforce and modernize mission metrics and monitoring. You will design, build, test, and ship software that powers real decisions. You will prototype fast, prove what works, and scale it. You will work across large data, real time services, and secure environments. Your code will keep operators informed and systems ready.

Here’s What Your Day-to-Day Might Include

  • Analyze user needs. Turn them into clear software designs and performance targets.

  • Design, code, debug, and enhance services and analytics.

  • Build rapid experimental prototypes for Y33 metrics and monitoring.

  • Demo capabilities to validate concepts, scale, and operational fit.

  • Integrate new software into existing operating environments.

  • Develop and execute test procedures. Track results and fix defects.

  • Review components for design adherence. Document outcomes.

  • Create data queries and pipelines for large data sets.

  • Design relational and non relational data models.

  • Implement event driven and data driven analytics.

  • Use Spring and Kafka to orchestrate services and queues.

  • Support CI and CD. Keep builds, tests, and releases clean.

  • Coordinate installs. Monitor performance to meet specs.

  • Lead one or more software teams. Set priorities. Delegate work. Ensure quality.

  • Recommend process and technology improvements.

  • Keep tickets current in Jira and publish clear documentation in Confluence.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph, must be active, we do not have the ability to sponsor clearances

  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen, we can not sponsor visa

  • Experience and Education, SWE 3:

    • Master’s in Computer Science or related field with five years as a Software Engineer, or

    • Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field with seven years as a Software Engineer, or

    • Nine years as a Software Engineer in similar scope, type, and complexity

Required Skills

  • Software development in Unix or Linux environments

  • Shell scripting and CLI, Bash and Python

  • Java development on Linux

  • Build services and APIs. REST and web services implementation

  • Search, monitoring, and big data stacks, Splunk and Elastic Stack

  • Monitoring and alerting, Prometheus

  • Visualization and analytics, Grafana

  • Messaging and streaming, Kafka and queue management concepts

  • NoSQL data stores, Elasticsearch and MongoDB

  • Key value and time series stores, OpenTSDB

  • Data modeling for relational and non relational systems

  • CI and CD concepts and tools, GitLab CI

  • Infrastructure as Code, Ansible

  • Source control with Git

  • Agile development experience

  • Use the Eclipse IDE and ship J2EE applications

  • Configuration management tooling and disciplined release practices

  • Write and review technical docs. Trace design to tests and results

  • Lead teams, ensure quality control, and meet delivery milestones

Desired Qualifications

  • Atlassian tool suite, Jira and Confluence

  • Containerization with Docker

  • Cloud solutions experience in secure environments

  • Strong communication that makes design choices clear to users and engineers

Compensation Range: $179,000.00 - $237,000.00 
*The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role. Please note that this range is intended as a guideline and is subject to flexibility.
