As a Test Engineer III, you’ll play a vital role in validating High Performance Computing (HPC) environments that power national security missions. Designing, executing, and analyzing test plans to validate HPC system requirements.
Using the Linux CLI and scripting in Bash/Python to automate test and data collection tasks.
Creating complex database queries to evaluate performance data across diverse platforms.
Testing and validating REST APIs supporting HPC environments.
Collaborating with systems engineers to align T&E with mission objectives, identifying risks and ensuring testability.
Tracking and resolving software/system defects to guarantee operational readiness.
Applying CI/CD methodologies with GitLab CI to streamline integration and validation.
Producing test documentation, including evaluation plans, analysis reports, and readiness assessments for government stakeholders.
Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (must be active). We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances.
Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field, plus 8 years of Test Engineering experience supporting programs of similar scope and complexity, OR
An additional 4 years of Test Engineering experience may substitute for a degree.
Strong experience with Linux CLI and associated tools.
Proficiency in Bash and Python scripting for task automation.
Hands-on experience developing and executing test plans for HPC systems.
Experience testing and integrating REST APIs in large-scale environments.
Skilled in creating and executing database queries to evaluate test data.
Demonstrated experience in defect tracking and resolution processes.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitLab CI.
Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence).
Familiarity with Splunk for monitoring and analyzing machine-generated data.
Understanding of SAFe Agile principles and collaborative agile practices.
Experience applying Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles with automation tools such as Ansible.
Proficiency with Git for source code and configuration management.
Compensation Range: $134,000.00 - $177,000.00
