Principal System Engineer - Fully Cleared (Prime)

About the Role: 

As a Systems Engineer at Intelliforce, you will work closely with stakeholders to analyze requirements, develop system specifications, and lead design activities. You will provide technical guidance on the integration of complex systems and collaborate with program personnel and government executives to address issues and drive results. Your leadership will ensure the technical integrity of deliverables and support seamless system development and implementation planning. This position offers an opportunity to make a tangible impact, working on projects with long-term strategic value.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Analyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
  • Lead the design and development activities, ensuring alignment with system requirements.
  • Guide users in formulating requirements, evaluate alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies.
  • Provide technical leadership in the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture and design documents.
  • Incorporate new designs and systems into ongoing operations seamlessly.
  • Prepare and assess system engineering management plans and system integration test plans.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Systems Engineering technical considerations with government and program personnel.
  • Maintain the technical integrity of all deliverables within the area of Systems Engineering responsibility.
  • Communicate effectively with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives to resolve issues and align technical direction.
Key Technologies and Skills:
  • Strong background in Systems Engineering principles, from requirements analysis to integration and delivery.
  • Expertise in developing system architecture, design documentation, and technical plans.
  • Ability to guide and support the development and implementation of complex technical systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills for interacting with government and program stakeholders.
  • Experience working with diverse engineering teams to meet mission-critical objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Twenty (20) years of Systems Engineering experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Five (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph 
  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen
Compensation Range: $182,000.00 - $240,000.00
