We’re seeking a skilled System Administrator to support both development and production environments for a mission-critical Identity and Access Management (IdAM) system. Here’s What Your Day-to-Day Might Include:
  • Configuring and maintaining Virtual Machines (VMs) in both development and production environments
  • Installing and securing Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Applying system and application patches (IAVA, version updates)
  • Writing, updating, and following standard operating procedures and technical documentation
  • Monitoring system performance and maintaining availability and security
  • Supporting ISSOs and ISSEs in achieving and maintaining system certification and accreditation
  • Using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Perl) to automate administrative tasks
  • Collaborating with engineering teams and security staff to ensure system integrity
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have a Top-Secret clearance with FS Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree + 3 years of experience (or 7 years of relevant experience without a degree)
  • Proficiency with Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Experience in configuration and maintenance of Virtual Machines
  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Perl)
  • OS and software patching (IAVA, version updates)
  • Ability to work independently and follow detailed procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and time management skills
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration
  • Familiarity with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
  • Knowledge of secrets/vault management systems
  • Experience with IdAM directories (Active Directory and/or LDAP)
  • Familiarity with ticket tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Redmine, RT Tracker)
  • Understanding of basic networking and load balancing concepts
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a collaborative environment

Compensation Range: $125,000.00 - $138,000.00
*The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role. Please note that this range is intended as a guideline and is subject to flexibility.
