As a Senior Software Integration Engineer (SIE-4), you’ll be at the forefront of integrating, testing, and sustaining advanced High Performance Computing (HPC) systems that directly support national security.

Here’s What Your Day-to-Day Might Include

  • Integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in diverse HPC environments.

  • Designing and executing automated integration and system tests for stability, reliability, and performance.

  • Writing and maintaining scripts and playbooks (Bash/Python, Ansible) to automate testing and system-level workflows.

  • Performing Linux system administration and troubleshooting in multi-host, multi-instance HPC environments.

  • Developing technical documentation for the full software stack and reporting results to key stakeholders.

  • Conducting redundancy, failover, performance, and functional testing to ensure system robustness.

  • Providing product ownership for HPC tools and ensuring optimal configurations tailored to customer needs.

  • Supporting virtualization environments (VMware ESXi) and containerized solutions (Docker).

  • Leveraging CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI) to streamline delivery and sustainment.

  • Collaborating with teammates and customers in fast-paced, Agile environments using JIRA and Confluence.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (active). We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances.

  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas.

  • Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related) + 10 years relevant experience, OR

    • 5 years of full-time Computer Science-related work (no degree) + 10 years relevant experience, OR

    • Industry-recognized professional certification may substitute for 1 year of experience, OR

    • Master’s degree in Computer Science (or related) may substitute for 2 years of experience.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with Linux CLI and tools.

  • Bash/Python scripting to automate testing in HPC environments.

  • Hands-on Linux administration in multi-host, multi-instance HPC environments.

  • Troubleshooting hardware/software issues in HPC systems.

  • Experience configuring and sustaining VMware ESXi/virtualization environments.

  • Proficiency with Docker and containerization workflows.

  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools, particularly Ansible.

  • Familiarity with monitoring and metrics tools for system performance and data analysis.

  • Network monitoring and troubleshooting in HPC systems.

  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices (GitLab CI).

  • Proficiency with Git source control.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Atlassian tool suite (JIRA, Confluence).

  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and best practices.

Compensation Range: $187,000.00 - $247,000.00 

*The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role. Please note that this range is intended as a guideline and is subject to flexibility.
