At Intelliforce, every line of code strengthens mission security. As a Software Engineer supporting the one of our premiere programs, you’ll develop and extend capabilities that power classification marking tools across multiple secure environments, including M365 web-based applications. You’ll work alongside talented developers and system engineers to enhance policy-driven software and improve testing at all levels of the lifecycle. This position gives you the opportunity to build critical tools used for access control, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and security across the mission space.
Location: Ft. Meade, MD area
Telework: Not specified (onsite preferred)
Schedule: 40 hours per week, normal day shift
Participate in full life cycle software design, development, testing, and documentation
Extend and customize classification string validation and comparison tools used for access control
Develop and enhance testing strategies for software validation and performance
Actively participate in code reviews to ensure quality and compliance with standards
Analyze system requirements, concepts of operation, and architecture documentation to define development requirements
Collaborate with system engineers to refine requirements and document processes
Create and expand unit and functional test cases using Jest and Cypress
Support integration and validation testing across multiple security fabrics
Follow established development processes and contribute to continuous improvement
Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (must be active). We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances.
Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline plus three (3) years of software engineering experience
OR seven (7) years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree
Proficiency with JavaScript, Jest, and Cypress
Experience performing and improving testing at all levels of development
Ability to analyze system requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Strong documentation skills for system engineering and test processes
Active participation in team-based code reviews and adherence to established standards
Experience gathering, analyzing, and validating customer requirements
Familiarity with software lifecycle processes and configuration control
Experience triaging user issues and tracking responses
Ability to coordinate with test users and report test results
Experience with multiple test types (logic, end user, performance)
Understanding of version control systems and agile collaboration tools
Strong communication and teamwork skills in a collaborative environment
