We’re seeking a Data Scientist with a passion for graph theory and algorithm development to join a high-impact team building a powerful, real-time graph analysis platform. This system will revolutionize how analysts visualize, traverse, and extract insights from complex mission data—supporting our nation’s most critical intelligence operations. Your work will help transform raw data into accessible and actionable information, directly influencing mission success.

Here’s what your day-to-day might include:  

  • Designing, modeling, and optimizing graph data structures to support expanding mission requirements.

  • Creating efficient, scalable queries for graph databases (especially Neo4j), with the ability to quickly learn and apply Cypher.

  • Developing and maintaining data parsers in Python to support ingestion pipelines and real-time data workflows.

  • Validating and analyzing mission-critical datasets to ensure integrity, accuracy, and performance.

  • Collaborating closely with mission analysts to translate analytical requirements into graph-based technical solutions.

  • Working with software developers to integrate optimized queries and parsers into production-level components.

  • Maintaining thorough documentation of graph schemas, data models, and ingestion processes using tools like Confluence.

  • Engaging directly with end users and mission stakeholders to understand operational pain points and propose data-focused solutions.

Qualifications:  

  • Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph   

  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen  

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree).

  • Experience or strong interest in graph databases (e.g., Neo4j), with a willingness to learn Cypher

    Nice to Have:

  • Direct experience with Neo4j and the Cypher query language.

  • Knowledge of graph theory and graph-specific algorithms.

  • Understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts.

  • Experience working in real-time data processing or streaming environments.

  • Familiarity with ETL pipelines for large or complex datasets.

  • Exposure to containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Background in SIGINT collection and analysis systems or similar mission-focused domains.

  • Strong Python development skills, especially for writing and maintaining data parsers.

  • Ability to analyze, model, and manipulate complex data structures.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; experience engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Compensation Range: $138,000.00 - $182,000.00 

*The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role. Please note that this range is intended as a guideline and is subject to flexibility.
