We're looking for a dedicated Systems Engineer to join our GATEKEEPER team, where you'll be fully embedded with developers, QA engineers, and DevOps professionals. In this dynamic role, you’ll provide hands-on support throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for our mission-critical GATEKEEPER product. From building and managing product installations for our DoD customers to post-deployment support and technical documentation, your contributions will directly impact national security outcomes.

Here’s What Your Day-to-Day Might Include:
  • Supporting the full SDLC in collaboration with developers, testers, and product owners
  • Performing system testing, validation, and performance tuning to ensure production readiness
  • Ensuring systems meet security best practices and organizational standards
  • Creating and maintaining detailed documentation including training materials, process flows, architectural diagrams, wikis, blogs, and XML/HTML pages
  • Providing post-deployment support and troubleshooting system behaviors
  • Managing and optimizing system monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
  • Communicating architecture and system design concepts clearly and effectively
  • Working across functions to align system performance with business and technical goals
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have a Top-Secret clearance with FS Polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field + 7 years of relevant experience (12 years without a degree)
  • Strong experience with Windows operating systems (Linux experience is a plus)
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS preferred)
  • Understanding of SDLC best practices and how to support secure, scalable system builds
  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
Desired Qualifications:
  • AWS Foundational Level Certification
  • Experience writing and managing technical documentation (wiki pages, system guides, XML/HTML content)
  • Working knowledge of ICAM (Identity, Credential, and Access Management) capabilities and integration
  • Familiarity with Linux systems and cross-platform environments
  • Experience implementing system monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization solutions
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to thrive in a team-focused, mission-driven environment
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a collaborative environment

Compensation Range: $164,000.00 - $181,000.00
*The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role. Please note that this range is intended as a guideline and is subject to flexibility.
