Schedule: Standard day shift (on-site)
Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (required)
Your day starts by checking system health dashboards and cloud resource status across AWS environments. You’ll troubleshoot performance issues, apply patches, and ensure services remain stable and secure. Throughout the day, you’ll collaborate with engineers and mission stakeholders to resolve incidents, support deployments, and optimize infrastructure. Some tasks may involve configuring systems, managing storage or compute resources, or investigating anomalies before they impact users. By the end of the day, you’ll know your work helped keep critical operations running smoothly.
Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (required)
Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university, plus relevant system administration experience supporting programs of similar scope and complexity. Additional years of experience may substitute for the degree.
Strong experience administering Linux systems in operational environments
Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure
Ability to troubleshoot system, network, and application issues
Experience performing system maintenance, patching, and monitoring
Familiarity with scripting and automation in Linux environments
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
Experience supporting mission or enterprise-scale environments
Familiarity with configuration management or automation tools
Knowledge of networking fundamentals and cloud security practices
Experience supporting high-availability systems
Linux, AWS (EC2, S3, EBS, IAM, networking services), shell scripting, monitoring tools, virtualization platforms, enterprise networking technologies, and standard system administration toolsets.
