At Intelliforce, we develop solutions that ensure data integrity and security across mission-critical systems. As a Software Engineer, you’ll design and enhance tools that validate and enforce classification markings within M365 web-based environments. You’ll collaborate with a talented development team to extend and customize access control solutions, ensuring secure data handling across multiple fabrics. This role blends technical skill, creativity, and collaboration in support of the national mission.
Location: Ft. Meade, MD area
Schedule: 40 hours per week, normal day shift
Design, develop, test, and document policy-driven software solutions for classification and access control tools
Extend and customize classification string validation and comparison capabilities supporting M365 web applications
Write and maintain code using JavaScript, Jest, and Cypress for both functionality and testing
Perform code reviews and contribute to development best practices
Use JIRA and GitLab for issue tracking, version control, and collaboration
Engage directly with customers to understand requirements and troubleshoot issues
Work collaboratively within a multi-contractor, multi-discipline development environment
Contribute to system documentation, guides, and process improvements
Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (must be active). We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances.
Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline plus three (3) years of software engineering experience
OR seven (7) years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree
Proficiency in JavaScript development
Experience with Jest and Cypress for testing and validation
Working knowledge of JIRA and GitLab
Experience performing structured code reviews
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Ability to communicate directly with customers and cross-functional teams
Experience working within established development processes
Experience gathering and refining customer requirements
Ability to create and expand unit and functional test cases
Experience testing software releases and merge requests
Understanding of collaborative software engineering practices across government and contractor teams
Ability to contribute to documentation, training materials, and high-level process guides
Strong time management and independent work habits
