At the intersection of national defense and advanced mobile technology, your work will directly support the discovery, development, and deployment of capabilities that protect critical systems and disrupt adversaries. As a Cyber Software Engineer focused on mobile vulnerability research and reverse engineering, you'll play a key role in uncovering and operationalizing security weaknesses in widely deployed mobile technologies. Reverse-engineering mobile applications and SDKs using both static and dynamic analysis tools.
Testing and debugging mobile exploits in lab environments.
Performing vulnerability research on mobile platforms, identifying software flaws, and validating exploitability.
Developing software tools and scripts to support testing and automation of mobile exploitation techniques.
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of researchers, engineers, and operators.
Documenting findings and supporting mission reports and briefings with technical detail.
Contributing to the design and development of prototype capabilities.
Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 8+ years of software engineering or cybersecurity experience
OR 12+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
Proficient in Java, JavaScript, and Python
Hands-on experience with mobile reverse engineering using tools such as Frida, Jadx, Ghidra, or IDA Pro
Demonstrated experience with vulnerability research and debugging mobile applications
Familiarity with application development and basic software engineering principles
Experience with C/C++
Familiarity with debugging tools like gdb or similar
Understanding of Android or iOS internals, system architecture, and ecosystem
Experience in high-side development or secure, air-gapped environments
Knowledge of non-attributed network environments and related tooling
Experience working within cloud environments such as AWS
Compensation Range: $138,000.00 - $182,000.00
