As a Systems Engineer focused on Identity Credential and Access Management (ICAM) and Zero Trust Implementation, you’ll be at the heart of building next-generation access solutions that protect critical infrastructure. Analyzing user requirements, system architectures, and CONOPS to develop system requirements and specifications.
Leading system design, development, and integration activities, ensuring technical integrity throughout.
Creating and maintaining ICAM/Zero Trust documentation such as release notes, installation guides, SOPs, frameworks, and compliance plans.
Providing technical leadership on requirements analysis, feasibility studies, architecture design, and system integration.
Collaborating with software developers, testers, and administrators to ensure solutions meet evolving mission requirements.
Researching and evaluating technologies including REST, Oracle/MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, JSON, XML, Docker, AWS, NiFi, Single Sign-On (OAuth and SAML), and Kubernetes.
Supporting risk mitigation, vulnerability management, and RMF compliance.
Generating advisory documentation to support ICAM installation, planning, and Zero Trust implementation.
Developing and briefing program review materials and technical concepts to both technical and executive-level audiences.
Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (must be active – we cannot sponsor clearances).
Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen (we cannot sponsor visas).
Experience & Education:
7+ years of Systems Engineering experience in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
An additional 5 years of SE experience may be substituted for the degree (12 years total).
Strong technical acumen and troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve complex system/integration challenges.
Experience with PKI and high-availability deployment strategies across multiple service centers.
Knowledge of software development methodologies, security testing, and vulnerability tracking.
Demonstrated expertise in requirements analysis, CONOPS development, system architecture, and functional allocation.
Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to brief technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Hands-on experience supporting enterprise teams in system engineering, software development, and testing environments.
Familiarity with Confluence and Jira for tasking and collaboration.
Proven experience developing program review materials and presenting at the executive level.
Familiarity with Zero Trust strategy, policy, and technical mandates within DoD and federal environments.
Experience leading collaborative engineering teams in customer-focused, mission-driven environments.
Strong background in security compliance and implementation of industry standards across complex systems.
