As a Technical Systems Engineer on our DevOps team, you will play a critical role in architecting, scaling, and sustaining Kubernetes infrastructure supporting advanced analytic capabilities. Schedule and Work Details
Location: On-site in a SCIF
Schedule: Full time
Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (required). We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances.

Here’s What Your Day-to-Day Might Include
Collaborate with a high-performing DevOps team to build and operate Kubernetes environments across secure platforms.
Design and maintain Kubernetes network policies for secure, efficient in-cluster communications.
Perform system patching, maintain System Security Plans, and keep documentation audit-ready.
Support ongoing sustainment aligned to STE and STN security compliance frameworks.
Use Confluence and Jira for documentation, issue tracking, and team coordination.

Minimum Qualifications
Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (required).
Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Education and Experience
Twenty or more years of Systems Engineering experience supporting programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline.
Five additional years of Systems Engineering experience may substitute for the degree, for a total of twelve years required.
Demonstrated experience planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.

Required Skills
Hands-on experience using the Linux CLI in operational environments.
Expertise building and sustaining Kubernetes infrastructure, including internal networking.
Experience with patching, SSP ownership, and compliance-driven engineering.
Working knowledge of STE and STN security compliance standards.
Strong documentation discipline using Jira and Confluence.
Strong collaboration skills with engineers and mission stakeholders.
Ability to adjust quickly as mission and security needs change.

Desired Skills
Infrastructure as code experience using Terraform, Salt, or Ansible.
Experience with Rancher, Helm, and advanced Kubernetes features.
Experience with observability tooling such as Elasticsearch, Kibana, Grafana.
Security plus or equivalent certification.

Compensation Range: $185,000.00 - $238,000.00
*The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role. Please note that this range is intended as a guideline and is subject to flexibility.
