As an Offensive Cyber & Mobile Vulnerability Research Engineer, you’ll help safeguard national security by diving deep into mobile ecosystems, uncovering vulnerabilities, reverse-engineering applications, and crafting solutions that empower mission-critical operations. Here’s What Your Day-to-Day Might Include

  • Testing, debugging, and validating mobile exploits to support mission objectives.

  • Reverse-engineering mobile applications and SDKs to uncover capabilities and potential vulnerabilities.

  • Conducting vulnerability research across Android, iOS, and other mobile platforms.

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining applications and software tools that advance offensive cyber capabilities.

  • Collaborating with analysts, operators, and fellow engineers to translate mission needs into technical solutions.

  • Researching, prototyping, and integrating new techniques to stay ahead in the fast-evolving mobile domain.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (must be active – we cannot sponsor clearances).

  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen (we cannot sponsor visas).

  • Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 8+ years of relevant experience, or

    • 12+ years of relevant experience in place of a degree.

Required Skills

  • Strong programming experience in Java, JavaScript, and Python.

  • Hands-on experience in reverse engineering using static and dynamic analysis tools such as Frida, Jadx, Ghidra, or IDA.

  • Demonstrated experience with vulnerability research and debugging.

  • Solid understanding of application development principles and practices.

Desired Qualifications

  • Programming experience with C/C++.

  • Experience debugging with gdb or similar tools.

  • Knowledge of Android or iOS operating systems, architecture, and ecosystems.

  • Experience with high-side development environments.

  • Familiarity with non-attributed networks and secure development practices.

  • Experience with cloud environments such as AWS.

Compensation Range: $138,000.00 - $182,000.00 

*The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role. Please note that this range is intended as a guideline and is subject to flexibility.
