As a DevOps Engineer on our Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) team, you’ll play a key role in supporting and advancing secure access capabilities for some of the nation's most critical systems. Collaborating with senior engineers and developers to deliver DevOps support for ICAM services
Managing configuration management (CM) tools, supporting software builds, and coordinating secure releases
Designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Groovy, and Ansible
Supporting containerized environments with Docker, Kubernetes, and Rancher
Writing Linux-based shell or Python scripts to automate repetitive tasks and support operations
Partnering with systems engineers, software developers, and testers to streamline delivery and integration
Documenting technical workflows, system configurations, and deployment procedures for future reference
Providing production and development support for mission-critical ICAM capabilities in a secure environment
Clearance: TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
OR 7 years of relevant software or DevOps engineering experience in lieu of a degree
Experience: 3+ years of software engineering or DevOps experience
Practical experience with DevOps tools, pipelines, and best practices
Familiarity with version control and configuration management processes
Strong scripting abilities using shell or Python in Linux environments
Ability to work independently with excellent problem-solving skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to clearly document and communicate technical workflows and design architecture
Hands-on experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, Docker, and Rancher
Proficiency with CI/CD tools and scripting languages including Jenkins, Ansible, and Groovy
Knowledge of Helm charts and automated deployment practices
Full-stack Java development experience, particularly with RESTful APIs
Familiarity with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) concepts and secure authentication methods
Understanding of ICAM integration strategies and best practices
Ability to contribute to technical documentation, wikis, and internal knowledge-sharing platforms
