We’re seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support a mission-critical Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) platform. Your expertise will ensure that enterprise users can securely access systems through robust Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC), Digital Policy Management (DPM), and directory integration. Collaborating with external customers to gather, refine, and document technical requirements
Decomposing requirements into clear, actionable software development and test tasks
Mapping and analyzing data flows to and from the ICAM directory system
Providing technical guidance on system architecture, integration strategies, and design trade-offs
Leading or supporting engineering tasks related to ABAC, DPM, and LDAP directory replication
Creating and reviewing detailed technical documentation, including user guides, interface definitions, and architecture diagrams
Supporting the population and management of authoritative user data in enterprise directories
Designing and maintaining integration options for external applications and services
Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
Citizenship: U.S. Citizen
Experience & Education:
10+ years of Systems Engineering experience on programs of similar scope and complexity
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
In lieu of a degree, 5 additional years of relevant experience (totaling 15 years) may be substituted
Proven experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and decomposition
Strong understanding of ICAM system architecture and integration challenges
Familiarity with ABAC, DPM, and LDAP directory services
Ability to analyze complex systems, map data dependencies, and document interrelationships
Skilled in authoring clear technical documentation for both internal and external audiences
Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Deep expertise in LDAP protocols, directory structures, and tools such as Apache Directory Studio
Knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and authentication frameworks
Familiarity with XACML or other DPM technologies
Experience with SQL databases and data modeling
Proficiency with ticket tracking tools like JIRA or Redmine
Exposure to SIGINT or Information Assurance (IA) mission environments
Ability to navigate and document complex software ecosystems and system interdependencies
