As a Software Engineer III, you’ll play a pivotal role in modernizing and sustaining services that automate corporate data compliance requirements for High Performance Computing (HPC) organizations. Your expertise will help ensure mission-critical systems meet compliance standards while continuing to perform at peak scale. Designing, developing, testing, and deploying innovative software solutions that automate corporate data compliance.
Writing and enhancing scripts using Bash and Python to improve automation and streamline operations.
Building and maintaining multi-threaded and distributed applications in a Linux environment.
Applying your Java and Python development skills to sustain and modernize existing services.
Collaborating with HPC SMEs and mission stakeholders to align technical solutions with compliance requirements.
Deploying containerized services within Kubernetes orchestration frameworks.
Developing and consuming RESTful APIs to enhance interoperability across systems.
Performing system benchmarking, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure performance and scalability.
Using CI/CD best practices with GitLab CI for efficient code delivery.
Leveraging Git to manage source code with best-in-class version control practices.
Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (must be active). We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances.

Education & Experience:
Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, plus 5 years of SWE experience on programs of similar scope and complexity, OR
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, plus 7 years of SWE experience, OR
9 years of experience as a SWE in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Proficiency with the Linux CLI and basic Linux system administration.
Strong scripting experience with Bash and Python.
Recent Java and Python software development experience.
Hands-on experience designing and developing multi-threaded, distributed applications.
Understanding of corporate data security and compliance procedures.
Experience benchmarking and system testing in a Linux environment.
Hands-on deployment of containerized services under Kubernetes orchestration.
Strong experience with RESTful APIs.
Experience with CI/CD tools and practices such as GitLab CI.
Proficiency with Git for source code management.
Experience with the Atlassian Suite (Confluence, Jira).
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker, PodMan, or containerd.
Experience with monitoring and visualization tools such as Grafana.
Familiarity with Rust programming.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools such as Ansible.
Knowledge of Message Broker technologies (e.g., Pulsar, Kafka, RabbitMQ).
Compensation Range: $179,000.00 - $237,000.00
