As a Test Engineer III, you won’t just check boxes—you’ll ensure that advanced High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems perform flawlessly in the real world. Your expertise will validate system performance, reduce risk, and empower mission-critical decisions that protect national security.
Designing, developing, and executing test and evaluation (T&E) strategies that validate HPC systems against mission requirements.
Conducting performance analysis, modeling, and simulation to characterize system behavior and mitigate risk.
Collaborating with Systems Engineering teams to integrate functional analysis, parameter selection, and system descriptions into evaluation planning.
Executing test plans and procedures, collecting performance data, and performing in-depth analysis to provide actionable results.
Producing Evaluation Reports, Risk Assessments, and Test Readiness Reviews that guide leadership decisions.
Coordinating across integrated test teams to ensure alignment with acquisition timelines, compliance requirements, and mission priorities.
Supporting automation and CI/CD test processes to drive efficiency and accuracy across the testing lifecycle.
Providing leadership in T&E tasks, mentoring team members, and ensuring quality assurance throughout all test deliverables.
Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (must be active – we cannot sponsor clearances).
Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen (we cannot sponsor visas).
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or related discipline, with at least 8 years of Test Engineering experience in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.
OR an additional 4 years of TE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Strong experience with Linux CLI and Linux tools.
Proficiency in Bash/Python scripting for task automation.
Hands-on experience developing and executing test plans for HPC systems.
Ability to integrate and test REST APIs in HPC environments.
Experience writing complex database queries for analyzing test data across multiple platforms.
Proven track record in defect tracking and resolution processes.
Familiarity with CI/CD principles, tools, and pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI).
Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (Jira, Confluence).
Familiarity with Splunk for data monitoring, search, and analysis.
Knowledge of SAFe Agile principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible.
Experience using Git for source control and team collaboration.
