As a Full-Stack Software Engineer, you’ll join a high-performing, mission-driven development team supporting a robust web-based platform that integrates diverse publicly available information (PAI) sources into a powerful analytical tool relied upon by hundreds of mission customers. This long-running effort is recognized for its technical stability, team cohesion, and deep integration into mission-critical workflows. Your work will directly shape how analysts and operators access, visualize, and leverage data to solve evolving challenges.

Here’s What Your Day-to-Day Might Include

  • Taking ownership of complex features and delivering scalable, production-ready solutions.

  • Designing and developing data ingest pipelines, scalable REST APIs, and user-facing visualizations that power real-time analysis.

  • Applying expertise in microservices architectures and NoSQL databases to ensure reliable, high-performing systems.

  • Collaborating closely with analysts, product owners, and a cross-functional team of over 20 developers to ensure mission requirements are met.

  • Enhancing team processes and tooling to enable faster integration of new data sources and improved delivery efficiency.

  • Mentoring teammates, sharing best practices, and promoting code quality across the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (must be active – we cannot sponsor clearances).

  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen (we cannot sponsor visas).

  • Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 12+ years of experience, or

    • 16+ years of relevant experience in place of a degree.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Java and the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC/REST, Spring Security, Spring Data).

  • Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases such as Elasticsearch, Dgraph, MongoDB, or Redis.

  • Proficiency with Git for version control and Maven for build automation.

  • Comfortable working in a Linux development environment.

  • Experience using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) for tracking and documentation.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.

  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to quickly learn new tools, technologies, and workflows.

Desired Qualifications

  • Proficiency in data wrangling tools such as Apache NiFi.

  • Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda).

  • Scripting experience in Python, Groovy, and Bash.

  • Familiarity with AI/ML workflows, particularly for data enrichment or analysis.

  • Frontend development experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js, React).

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and automated testing (JUnit).

  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Packer, Terraform, and Ansible.

  • Exposure to production CNO capabilities and operations.

Compensation Range: $199,000.00 - $262,000.00 

*The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role. Please note that this range is intended as a guideline and is subject to flexibility.
