As a Senior Systems Engineer specializing in Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) and Zero Trust architecture, you’ll play a pivotal role in modernizing how security is enforced across critical environments. Your expertise will shape secure, scalable, and innovative solutions that ensure our customers can trust their infrastructure, their data, and their mission success.
Providing hands-on systems engineering and technical support for ICAM Zero Trust implementations.
Designing, integrating, and troubleshooting solutions with technologies such as REST, Docker, AWS, NiFi, Kubernetes, Oracle/MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, JSON, XML, and Single Sign-On (OAuth/SAML).
Developing, updating, and maintaining ICAM Zero Trust documentation (release notes, installation and user guides, SOPs, frameworks, and compliance plans).
Researching new technologies and identifying improvement opportunities for current ICAM capabilities.
Collaborating with development, test, and system administration teams to deliver secure and effective capabilities.
Creating and maintaining architecture and design documentation to support enterprise strategy.
Supporting risk mitigation assessments, vulnerability management, and compliance with DoD and federal mandates.
Briefing both technical and non-technical stakeholders on system architectures, risk posture, and progress.
Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (must be active – we cannot sponsor clearances).
Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen (we cannot sponsor visas).
Experience & Education:
15+ years of Systems Engineering experience in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline.
An additional 5 years of SE experience may be substituted for the degree (20 years total).
Proven ability to solve complex system and integration problems in mission environments.
Strong technical acumen with experience across PKI, scalability, and high-availability strategies for multi-service center deployments.
Deep understanding of software development methodologies, application and security testing, and vulnerability tracking.
Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and related compliance standards.
Demonstrated engineering experience with requirements, functional analysis, allocation, CONOPS, and system architectures.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to brief technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams including software developers, testers, and administrators.
Hands-on familiarity with Confluence and Jira for documentation and task management.
Experience preparing program review materials and technical reports for leadership.
Ability to develop and brief system engineering strategies and CONOPS to senior executives.
Track record of collaborative leadership in customer-facing, mission-focused environments.
Experience supporting federal and DoD standards/policies within enterprise security.
