Here’s What Your Day-to-Day Could Include
- Develop Java Spring Boot microservices using AWS native services
- Build robust REST APIs capable of handling complex data filtering and processing
- Use Python to automate and optimize AWS resources such as Lambda, Step Functions, EC2, and S3
- Design scalable services within a microservices architecture
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Maven, GitLab, and GitOps practices
- Support containerized deployments and cloud-native workflows
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and deliver iterative software improvements
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and mission stakeholders to refine requirements
- Ensure reliability, performance, and security across distributed applications
Minimum Qualifications
- Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph, must be active. We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 12 years of relevant experience, OR
- Master’s degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience
- Experience working with AWS services such as S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, and CloudWatch
Required Skills
- Candidates should demonstrate experience in at least three of the following areas:
- Java Spring Boot and or Python development
- Microservices architecture design and implementation
- CI/CD tools and practices including AWS tooling, Maven, GitLab, GitOps, Kubernetes, Docker, or Ansible
- NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB, including query development and schema design
- OAuth or OIDC implementation
- Automated testing frameworks and tools such as Cypress or Cucumber
Desired Skills
- Experience modernizing legacy systems into cloud-native platforms
- Strong understanding of distributed system performance and scalability
- Familiarity with container orchestration and DevOps methodologies
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
Compensation Range: $184,000.00 - $236,000.00

The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role.
