As a DevOps Software Engineer, you will help build and sustain the cloud-native infrastructure that powers advanced mission systems. Your work will directly enable development teams to deliver capabilities faster, more securely, and at scale. Schedule and Work Details
Location: NBP410
Schedule: Full-time onsite (SCIF environment)
Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (in-scope within 7 years required)
Here’s What Your Day-to-Day Might Look Like
Designing and maintaining Infrastructure-as-Code solutions that provision secure cloud environments
Managing Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads supporting mission applications
Automating deployment pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and modern DevOps practices
Collaborating with development teams to optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability
Implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure operational visibility and uptime
Troubleshooting infrastructure, networking, and application issues across distributed systems
Supporting secure operations within customer environments while improving automation maturity
Minimum Qualifications
Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (required)
Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field from an accredited college or university plus seven (7) years of Software Engineering experience in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity; OR
Nine (9) years of Software Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree

Strong DevOps engineering experience supporting production environments
Expertise with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
Hands-on experience administering Kubernetes clusters
Experience with container platforms and orchestration tools
Proficiency with AWS services and cloud architecture concepts
Automation using Ansible or similar configuration management tools
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
Strong networking fundamentals, including service mesh technologies (Calico, Istio)
Experience with centralized logging and monitoring solutions
Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems
Desired Skills
Experience supporting mission or high-security environments
Familiarity with scalable microservices architectures
Experience optimizing system performance and reliability at scale
Knowledge of cloud security best practices
Experience working within Agile or DevOps-driven teams
Technology Stack
Terraform, Kubernetes, Ansible, AWS (EC2, EKS, VPC, IAM), Docker, GitLab CI/CD, Calico, Istio, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Prometheus, Grafana, Linux, Bash/Python scripting, cloud-native monitoring and automation tools
Compensation Range: $176,000.00 - $226,000.00*The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role. Please note that this range is intended as a guideline and is subject to flexibility.
