Software Engineer – LLM & HPC Integration - Fully Cleared

As the technical anchor for a development team of 15–20 engineers, you’ll lead by example, champion best practices, and ensure seamless integration and delivery of services that matter.
- Leading a team responsible for storing and managing system SSR data within a modern microservices-based architecture
- Designing and building RESTful services using Java Spring Boot capable of processing complex data objects
- Developing automation and optimization routines in Python for AWS-native services (e.g., Lambda, Step Functions, EC2, S3)
- Implementing robust CI/CD pipelines using Maven, GitLab, and GitOps
- Applying Agile development principles and participating in agile ceremonies to align with mission priorities
- Acting as the team's voice at customer meetings, technical exchange meetings (TEMs), and planning discussions
- Overseeing adherence to program schedules, quality benchmarks, and milestone delivery
- Ensuring secure integration with authentication and authorization protocols including OAuth/OIDC
- Fostering effective collaboration, mentorship, and communication within the team and across stakeholders
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have a Top Secret clearance with FSP
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 15+ years of experience
- OR Master’s degree and 13+ years of experience
- OR Associate’s degree and 17+ years of experience
- OR High school diploma/GED and 19+ years of relevant experience
- Active Top Secret clearance with a CI polygraph within the last 7 years
- Proven leadership in Agile software development and delivery
- Expertise in Java (Spring Boot) or Python
- Experience designing and deploying microservices-based architectures
- Familiarity with AWS technologies, including EC2, Lambda, S3, and Step Functions
- Strong understanding of CI/CD tools: Maven, GitLab, GitOps, Kubernetes, Docker, and Ansible
- Advanced knowledge of NoSQL databases, including MongoDB and DynamoDB
- Proficiency in OAuth/OIDC implementation for secure services
- Background in test automation frameworks, such as Cypress and Cucumber
- Ability to lead, mentor, and communicate across multidisciplinary technical teams
- Prior leadership of development teams in mission-critical environments
- Familiarity with UTT or targeting systems
- A passion for innovation, cloud-native architecture, and national defense
Compensation Range: $232,000.00 - $255,000.00

The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role.
