About this Role:
As a Full-Stack Software Developer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and improving a web-based tool that integrates disparate publicly available information (PAI) sources. This tool supports hundreds of mission customers by delivering robust visualizations, REST APIs, and enhanced user-facing capabilities. You’ll collaborate with a highly skilled team of engineers to refine the platform and provide analysts with the tools they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development, refinement, and continuous improvement of a mature software system, including coding, testing, and creating technical documentation.
  • Leverage industry best practices and design patterns to ensure the platform's scalability, maintainability, and long-term success.
  • Design and expose REST APIs to support platform enhancements and improve user-facing visualizations.
  • Work collaboratively within a fast-paced, structured team of 10-14 developers, fostering a culture of teamwork and innovation.
  • Utilize API-driven microservice design patterns, NoSQL databases, and data ingest tools to expand and optimize the platform’s capabilities.

Key Technologies and Skills:
Required Skills:

  • Proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., VueJS, React, Angular).
  • Experience with Spring Boot Rest APIs and Spring Libraries (Spring Security, Spring Data, etc.).
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and build tools (Maven).
  • Proficiency in a Linux development environment.
  • Proven success in collaborative team environments (10+ members).

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., Mongo, Elasticsearch, Redis, Graph DB).
  • Proficiency in data wrangling using tools like Apache NiFi.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins), unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit), and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Groovy).
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Packer, Terraform, and Ansible.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Qualifications:

  • Years of Experience: 3+ years of relevant software development experience.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering). Alternatively, 4 additional years of experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph 
  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen
Compensation Range: $127,000.00 - $167,000.00 *
*The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role. Please note that this range is intended as a guideline and is subject to flexibility.
