Systems Engineer, Kubernetes Platform (Prime)
Make an Impact Where It Matters Most
At Intelliforce, we build and sustain the infrastructure that mission services depend on every day. In this role, you will work alongside an established DevOps team to build and support Kubernetes environments that host services across multiple platforms.
You will work at the intersection of systems engineering, platform operations, security compliance, and DevOps. Your focus will be on building reliable Kubernetes infrastructure, maintaining secure configurations, supporting system sustainment, and helping keep the platform compliant and operational as it grows.
What Makes This Opportunity Stand Out
This role gives you hands-on ownership of the infrastructure behind a mission platform. You will help build out Kubernetes environments, configure network policies, support system patching, maintain SSP documentation, and work within established STE/STN security requirements.
You will also gain exposure to the broader DevOps ecosystem through tools such as Terraform, Salt, Ansible, Rancher, Helm, Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Grafana. It is a strong fit for a systems engineer who enjoys platform engineering and wants to stay close to both the infrastructure and the security requirements that keep mission systems running.
At Intelliforce, your work is visible and your technical judgment matters. Because we support prime programs, our engineers stay close to meaningful mission work and the teams relying on these systems. Because we are a small business, leadership is accessible, communication is direct, and strong engineering gets noticed. Add in long-term stability, strong benefits, and a people-first culture, and this is an opportunity to take real ownership of a secure Kubernetes platform.
