Senior Systems Engineer
Senior Systems Engineer, Linux Platform Operations
Make an Impact Where It Matters Most
At Intelliforce, we support mission environments where scale, reliability, and technical integrity matter every day. In this role, you will help sustain and evolve a large-scale Linux platform that supports critical compute, network, memory, and storage operations. You will work across installation, operations, monitoring, security, and system enhancement efforts to keep the environment stable, secure, and ready for mission demand. This is a strong fit for an engineer who enjoys complex Linux systems, infrastructure problem-solving, and the challenge of keeping large platforms running well under pressure.
What Makes This Opportunity Stand Out
This role gives you broad ownership across a large operational Linux environment. You will support day-to-day cluster operations, install and sustain COTS, GOTS, and FOSS software, maintain system security integrity, and help improve platform reliability and performance over time. The work blends systems engineering, system administration, security, virtualization, automation, and monitoring, so your impact is visible across the full environment.
At Intelliforce, your work is visible and your technical judgment carries weight. Because we support prime programs, our teams stay close to meaningful mission work with real momentum. Because we are a small business, leadership is accessible, communication is direct, and strong engineering gets noticed. Add in long-term stability, strong benefits, and a people-first culture, and this becomes more than another systems role. It is a chance to help shape and sustain a mission platform teams rely on every day.
