Intelliforce is seeking a mission-driven Software Engineer to join our Endpoint Services team in support of Zero Trust architecture. This role focuses on enhancing and containerizing JBLOCKS capabilities to support secure, cross-domain mission environments. We are looking for a Java-savvy developer who thrives in dynamic environments, communicates clearly, and delivers thoughtful, resilient solutions.

Here’s what your day-to-day might include:

  • Developing and enhancing JBLOCKS capabilities in Java to support Zero Trust initiatives 

  • Collaborating with teammates and stakeholders to elicit, define, and manage requirements across multiple domains 

  • Designing and delivering software capabilities within a unified, multi-domain baseline 

  • Containerizing existing tools and applications using Docker and Kubernetes 

  • Developing and consuming REST services; working within Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) environments 

  • Performing software lifecycle tasks including design, implementation, documentation, and testing 

  • Ensuring security and compliance by aligning software with EDH1/2, ISM, CAPCO, and CUI standards 

  • Maintaining technical documentation including wikis, blogs, and markup-based documentation (XML/HTML) 

  • Participating in reviews of software components to ensure adherence to design and functional requirements 

  • Supporting secure coding practices and application integrity policies 

  • Interfacing with leadership, customers, and cross-functional teams to provide updates and gather feedback 


Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
 

  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph 

  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen 

  • Strong experience in Java development 

  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems 

  • Experience developing and interacting with RESTful services 

  • Understanding of PKI and security fundamentals 

  • Proficiency in containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes 

  • Ability to develop within a collaborative, Agile development environment 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 

  • Ability to create and maintain internal documentation (wikis, blogs, XML/HTML) 

Desired: 

  • Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards such as EDH1/2, ISM, CAPCO, and CUI 

  • Familiarity with requirements management and trade-off analysis across hardware/software components 

  • Prior experience with Zero Trust implementation and endpoint protection strategies 

  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and pivot quickly based on mission needs 

Compensation Range: $111,000.00 - $147,000.00 

*The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role. Please note that this range is intended as a guideline and is subject to flexibility.
