About this Role:
We are currently seeking an Experienced Systems Engineer to join our team and provide technical expertise on an exciting PRIME contract. In this role, you will engage with customers and development teams to gather requirements, manage sprint planning, and ensure deliverables meet customer needs. Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze user requirements, concepts of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
  • Lead requirements gathering, documentation, and ensure alignment with system requirements for ongoing projects.
  • Engage with customers and developers to facilitate effective communication on project status, milestones, and deliverable quality.
  • Manage sprint planning and retrospectives, ensuring effective collaboration between development teams and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate internal customer and team meetings to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery of results.
  • Collaborate with customer management to communicate project status, clarify priorities, and track milestones.
  • Ensure customer requirements are met by actively managing expectations and addressing issues promptly.
  • Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure all tasks are captured in JIRA and updated as necessary.
  • Support the integration and implementation of complex technical systems, ensuring the maintenance of technical integrity throughout.
  • Understand and/or work with Kubernetes, Rancher, and Helm to ensure system stability and scalability.
  • Apply your experience with Elasticsearch and Kibana dashboards to monitor and analyze system performance.
  • Leverage Grafana dashboards to visualize and interpret system data for improved decision-making.

Key Technologies and Skills:

  • Experience using Confluence and JIRA for managing projects, requirements, and documentation.
  • Proficient in requirements gathering and documentation to drive system specifications and project planning.
  • Familiarity with or experience using Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm for managing and deploying containers in a cloud environment.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Elasticsearch and Kibana for system monitoring and analysis.
  • Skilled in using Grafana dashboards to visualize and interpret system data for actionable insights.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with both internal teams and external customers.
  • Ability to manage sprint planning, retrospectives, and foster collaboration between cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

  • Fourteen (14) years of experience in Systems Engineering on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Alternatively, five (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • A strong understanding of systems integration, technical processes, and managing requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph 
  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen
Compensation Range: $152,000.00 - $201,000.00
