Here's What Your Day-to-Day Might Look Like
Your day will revolve around designing and building microservices that power modern mission applications. You’ll develop Java Spring Boot services, expose secure REST APIs, and ensure those services can handle complex data filtering and processing requirements.
You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable software. Some days will focus on implementing new features, while others will center on improving performance, integrating services, or refining deployment pipelines.
You’ll also help maintain CI/CD workflows, support Agile delivery cycles, participate in code reviews, and ensure applications meet security and quality standards before deployment.
Minimum Qualifications
Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (required)
Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience
At least 9 years of relevant experience, OR a Master’s degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience
Active Top Secret clearance with CI polygraph issued within the last 5 years
Required Skills
Strong experience developing Java Spring Boot microservices
Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs
Ability to build services capable of filtering and processing complex data objects
Experience working within Agile development environments
Familiarity with CI/CD principles and modern software delivery practices
Strong collaboration and communication skills for working across technical teams and stakeholders
Desired Skills
Experience with microservices architectures
Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, or Python
Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps workflows including AWS tools, Maven, GitLab, and GitOps practices
Experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker
Experience with NoSQL databases, including MongoDB schema design and query optimization
Experience implementing OAuth or OIDC authentication mechanisms
Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Playwright and Cucumber
Technology Stack
This role leverages Java and Spring Boot for microservices development, RESTful APIs, AWS cloud services, CI/CD pipelines using Maven and GitLab with GitOps practices, container platforms including Kubernetes and Docker, NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, modern authentication protocols including OAuth and OIDC, automated testing tools such as Playwright and Cucumber, and Agile software delivery methodologies.
Compensation Range: $169,000.00 - $218,000.00

The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role.
