About this Role
We are seeking a Data Integration Software Engineer to join our team and help design and develop a groundbreaking graph analysis platform. This innovative solution will enable our mission customers to visualize, analyze, and traverse complex data in near real-time for the first time. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior CNO software engineers, interact with end users to gain mission insights, and independently contribute to a transformative product.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based REST APIs for enterprise-grade solutions.
- Work with Kafka streams to process and transform large datasets.
- Apply leading design patterns to ensure scalability and maintainability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand mission workflows, elicit requirements, and inform platform design.
- Develop and optimize Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) services.
- Gain proficiency with graph databases and create complex database queries to support mission needs.
Key Technologies and Skills
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Java for enterprise application development.
- Knowledge of streaming analytics platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Spark.
- Experience with ETL patterns for processing complex datasets.
- Familiarity with Git and GitLab CI/CD workflows.
- Understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP).
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with graph databases (e.g., Neo4j).
- Expertise in real-time data processing using Kafka Streams or similar libraries.
- Experience modeling data and relationships in graph databases.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and analysis (e.g., routers, switches).
- Knowledge of SIGINT collection and analysis systems.
- Experience with production CNO capabilities and operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 3 years of relevant experience.
- OR 7 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen
