Mission Platform Sustainment Engineer

This role supports a platform that discovers, acquires, processes, and stores mission data, including streaming services, and plays a key part in keeping those capabilities stable, interoperable, and mission-ready. You will work across systems engineering, software engineering, Information Assurance, and testing to help ensure the platform continues to perform where it matters most.

Here’s What Your Day-to-Day Could Include
Support sustainment efforts to keep mission systems stable and operational
Maintain interoperability across systems and critical data flows
Help ensure compliance with standards, security expectations, and policy requirements
Support development, refactoring, build, and deployment efforts
Partner with mission stakeholders to support integration and issue resolution
Contribute to testing, troubleshooting, and technical problem resolution
Minimum Qualifications
- Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph, must be active. We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas
- Experience: 10 years of experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five additional years of SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
- Experience supporting implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT or mission systems
- Experience supporting operations, monitoring, and problem resolution in complex environments
- Experience maintaining interoperability, operational continuity, or data flow reliability across systems
- Experience supporting build, deployment, or sustainment in production environments
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and coordination skills
- Experience with platform interoperability across connected systems
- Experience with Information Assurance, standards compliance, or policy-driven maintenance
- Experience supporting mission data processing, storage, or streaming capabilities
- Experience working with external mission partners or integration teams
Compensation Range: $131,000.00 - $168,000.00
This salary range reflects our current market estimate for the role. Final compensation will depend on your experience, technical background, overall qualifications, and alignment with the position. We evaluate each candidate thoughtfully, so offers are shaped around the value you bring to the team
