As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of developing innovative Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) tools to support the implementation of Zero Trust architecture. Working alongside principal and senior engineers, you’ll help design and support robust, cloud-ready web applications that strengthen authentication and access control for sensitive government systems. Here’s what your day-to-day might include: 

In this role, you'll bring front-end and back-end code together to build seamless, mission-ready applications. Your day may include: 

  • Designing, developing, and deploying new features, APIs, and user interfaces using Java, ReactJS, and Spring Boot 

  • Integrating and optimizing existing ICAM components using Bash scripts and supporting customer integration requests 

  • Modifying and updating repository schemas to support configurable data items 

  • Developing secure, scalable services in Docker containers and deploying them in Kubernetes environments 

  • Creating CI/CD pipelines, writing unit and mock tests, and supporting software integration and production environments 

  • Collaborating with UX designers to enhance usability and ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards 

  • Writing clear technical documentation including wiki pages, blogs, XML/HTML, and system guides 

  • Leveraging AWS services (e.g., S3, EC2, ECR) for cloud-based deployments 

  • Supporting OAuth2/OpenID Connect integrations and working with PKI encryption and authentication protocols 

  • Using tools like Git, Maven, and JIRA to track progress and collaborate within an agile, team-oriented setting 

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Software Engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university  

  • Four (4) additional years of relevant software engineering experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree  

  • Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph   

  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen  

Required Skills & Experience: 

  • High-level proficiency in Java software development 

  • Experience designing and developing ReactJS front-end applications 

  • Familiarity with Spring Boot, Docker, and Kubernetes 

  • Proficient with Git, Maven, JSON, and XML 

  • Hands-on experience with OAuth2/OpenID Connect and PKI authentication 

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks like JUnit or Mockito, and Bash scripting in Linux environments 

  • Experience supporting cloud services such as AWS (S3, EC2, ECR, etc.) 

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly and effectively 

  • Proven ability to write technical documentation and collaborate in cross-functional teams 

Desired Skills & Certifications: 

  • Background in User Experience (UX) design and familiarity with Section 508 compliance 

  • Experience with Integration/Continuous Deployment best practices 

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or holding AWS Professional/Specialty certifications 

  • Comfortable working independently and in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with minimal supervision 

  • Strong organizational and time management skills 

Compensation Range: $150,000.00 - $198,000.00 

*The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role. Please note that this range is intended as a guideline and is subject to flexibility.
