In this role, you'll be at the heart of technical discovery and mission-driven prototyping, collaborating closely with analysts, operators, data scientists, and fellow engineers to craft powerful, effective CNO capabilities. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone passionate about reverse engineering, tool development, and delivering mission-critical impact.
Here’s what your day-to-day might include:
Design, prototype, and develop new capabilities for Linux-based network devices and embedded platforms.
Reverse engineer network-based systems to identify vulnerabilities, behaviors, and enhancements.
Derive and document technical requirements and translate them into operational capabilities.
Augment and modify existing toolsets to meet evolving mission needs.
Analyze network traffic using tools like Wireshark and contribute to the development of CNO-focused software in C, C++, Python, and Assembly.
Collaborate in cross-functional teams to rapidly prototype and integrate tools that deliver real-world impact.
Provide fielded software support and maintain documentation using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Qualifications:
Required
Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen
- 6+ years of relevant software engineering experience
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
(4 additional years of SWE experience may be substituted for a degree; a Master's may substitute for 2 years of experience)Nice to Have:
Experience with reverse engineering Windows or RTOS/embedded platforms
Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell, Perl, C#, or Rust
Background in vulnerability research and exploit development
Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT systems and mission operations
Experience developing production-grade CNO capabilities across Linux, Windows, or embedded platforms
Proficiency with C, C++, Python, and Assembly
Experience reverse engineering Linux-based network devices
Strong understanding of Unix-based systems and network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP)
Familiarity with Git, Subversion, and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
Compensation Range: $166,000.00 - $219,000.00

The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role.
