Here’s What Your Day-to-Day Might Include
You design and implement AI-assisted IDE and developer tooling capabilities that improve developer productivity. You integrate agent-based systems to support repetitive tasks such as code reviews, unit test generation, and code quality analysis. You experiment with autonomous and semi-autonomous agents to enhance development workflows. You integrate new tools into existing development platforms and CI pipelines. You collaborate closely with customers and teammates to gather feedback and iterate quickly. You measure, document, and communicate the impact of tooling improvements on developer efficiency and quality.
Minimum Qualifications
Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (required).
Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is required. Four additional years of relevant software engineering experience may be substituted for the degree. Twelve or more years of software engineering experience supporting modern development environments and tooling.
Required Skills
Strong software engineering skills in one or more modern programming languages. Experience working with IDEs, developer tools, or build and test systems. Hands-on experience with AI- or LLM-powered developer tools, including chat-based interfaces or automated coding agents. Ability to prototype, evaluate, and refine experimental tooling. Solid understanding of software development workflows and engineering best practices.
Desired Skills
Experience with automated code review or static analysis tools. Knowledge of agentic AI frameworks or orchestration systems. Experience working on developer platforms or internal engineering enablement teams. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Experience developing VS Code extensions using TypeScript or Electron.
Technology Stack
This role supports environments that include modern programming languages, IDEs and developer tooling platforms, AI and LLM-powered coding assistants, agentic frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, automated testing frameworks, static analysis tools, and internal developer platforms.
Compensation Range: $199,000.00 - $262,000.00

The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role.
