Your solutions will enable end-users to query, visualize, and analyze massive data sets that guide national security operations. Here's What Your Day-to-Day Might Include

  • Design, develop, test, and sustain an end-to-end Big Data processing platform

  • Build scalable Java applications using the Spring Boot framework in a Linux environment

  • Integrate multiple data sources for analytics, visualization, and reporting

  • Develop RESTful web services and support user-facing and backend applications

  • Write and maintain Bash and Python scripts for automation and data processing

  • Work with NoSQL data stores such as Elasticsearch and Accumulo

  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI for rapid, reliable deployments

  • Support system design, architecture, and performance optimization for distributed environments

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure stability, scalability, and mission readiness

Minimum Qualifications

Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (must be active). We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances.
Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas.

Education and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline plus five (5) years of experience

  • OR Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline plus seven (7) years of experience

  • OR nine (9) years of experience in software engineering of similar scope and complexity

Required Skills

  • Linux command-line experience

  • Bash and Python scripting

  • Java development with Spring Boot in Linux environments

  • Big Data processing and analytics development

  • System design and architecture experience

  • Web development, HTTP, and REST services

  • NoSQL technologies such as Elasticsearch and Accumulo

  • CI/CD pipeline implementation using Jenkins and GitLab CI

Desired Skills

  • Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)

  • Git Version Control System

  • Test-Driven Development (TDD)

  • Docker containerization

Compensation Range: $179,000.00 - $237,000.00 

*The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role. Please note that this range is intended as a guideline and is subject to flexibility.
