In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain tools and services supporting the Atlassian product suite, including Jira and Confluence, within the SUBURBANDEVELOPMENT environment. Here’s What Your Day-to-Day Could Include

• Design, develop, and maintain tools and services that support Jira, Confluence, and related Atlassian platform capabilities
• Build automations and workflows that reduce administrative overhead and improve team productivity
• Write scripts in Bash, Python, or PHP to automate tasks and streamline operations
• Support seamless integrations across teams, systems, and mission workflows
• Develop and maintain containerized services running in Linux and Kubernetes environments
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and platform documentation
• Partner with cross-functional teams and mission customers to deliver practical, reliable solutions

Minimum Qualifications

• Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph, must be active. We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances
• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas
• Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Or bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Or nine years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity

Required Skills

• Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools
• Experience writing Bash, Python, or PHP scripts to automate administrative tasks and workflows
• Extensive software development experience with Java
• Experience using an integrated development environment such as the Atlassian plugin software developer kit, SDK, or Visual Studio Code
• Experience with IaC principles and automation tools such as Ansible
• Experience creating documentation of configurations, procedures, and system changes
• Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
• Experience deploying containerized services under Kubernetes orchestration
• Experience with Git for source code management, branching strategies, and team collaboration

Desired Skills

• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite, including Jira and Confluence
• Experience sustaining mission applications deployed in a Linux environment
• Experience interacting with and training external customers

Compensation Range: $179,000.00 - $237,000.00
*The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role. Please note that this range is intended as a guideline and is subject to flexibility.
